What is RTC Indonesia?
In January 2021, the Indonesian Customs and Excise Training Center is officially become the Regional Training Center (RTC) for the Asia Pacific region after being endorsed by the head of customs administrations in the Asia Pacific region at the 21st WCO A/P Regional Head of Customs Administration Conference on November 12, 2020. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the World Customs Organization and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia on January 29, 2021.Having broader scope than that offered before, RTC Indonesia facilitates the follow-up of the World Customs Organization (WCO) programs in the Asia Pacific region by organizing regional customs capacity building programs and domestic classical training courses in a various number of specialized fields through the annual scheduled training programs and other additional courses to meet the training needs that arise every year. It also adopts diverse strategies to promote digital learning activities that result in massive open online courses such as e-learning, distance learning, webinar, and talk show.
